Article 1: Validity
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTC) concern the Auberge de la Fontasse (managed by the company ADF, SIRET number: 93960301500024) and the beneficiaries of its accommodation and grocery services, known as “customers” (“individuals” and “groups”).
They are valid from January 1, 2025.
Article 2: Reservations
Reservations are made directly via the hostel's website. There is no other way to book via booking platforms or other online tools.
It is not possible to book by phone.
Before making a reservation request, the customer agrees to have read the reception conditions of the place visible on the website in the "The place" and "Information" tabs and to have transmitted these conditions to the people accompanying them.
Individual customers
Any reservation for groups of individuals of 1 to 8 people is made on the hostel's website (www.aubergedelafontasse.fr/eng), "Book" tab, via the reservation module. Future customers will be asked to enter their credit card numbers via the secure module in order to guarantee the reservation.
The hostel reserves the right to cancel reservations that do not comply with the conditions stated (groups of 1 to 8 people maximum).
Groups of more than 8 people divided into several reservations of less than 8 people will be considered as groups of more than 8 people and the corresponding conditions will apply.
Group customers
Reservations for groups of more than 8 people must be submitted to a request sent manually to the hostel by email (contact@aubergedelafontasse.fr). The hostel reserves the right to accept them or not depending on the projects and availability.
Article 3: Schedules, arrivals, departures
The hostel and its terrace are closed every day between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. It is not possible to access the rooms and dormitories during these hours. The kitchen and bathrooms are also closed. A single room remains open all day giving access to cupboards to store your belongings and to a drinking water tap.
Arrival at the hostel will be between 5pm and 8:30pm.
After this time, the reception will be closed and no reception will be possible.
The customer, informed of these arrival conditions before booking, will be required to respect these times.
Departure must be before 10am on the last day of the stay. No belongings should be left in the rooms once the stay is over. It will be possible to leave luggage in the room provided for this purpose and which remains open throughout the day (see first paragraph of article 3). Once departure has been made, it will no longer be possible to use the kitchen and toilets.
Lights go out at 10pm, when the kitchen will be closed and must have been tidied up, so it is necessary to organize yourself to cook accordingly. After this time, guests wishing to continue their evening are asked to do so in silence and discretion in order to respect the sleep of those who have gone to bed.
Article 4: Rates and payments
The rates indicated are inclusive of tax. Tourist tax is included in the rates.
Payments: individual customers

Payment for the entire booked stay is made on site, upon arrival, before settling into a room or dormitory.
The accepted methods of payment are: cash and bank cards.
The hostel reserves the right to request payment in advance for certain individual reservations, particularly for long stays or those involving several individuals.
Payments: group customers

Payment for the entire stay must be made 40 days before arrival
The accepted payment methods are: transfers, bank cards, Chorus Pro purchase orders.
Article 5: Cancellation of part or all of a booked stay
The cancellation conditions must be read before booking.
Any reservation entails the application of these cancellation conditions, without exception and regardless of the reason for cancellation.
Cancellations must be made by email only to contact@aubergedelafontasse.fr
No cancellations made by telephone will be taken into account.
Cancellations: individual customers
Deadline for cancellation without charge: 72 hours before the scheduled arrival date (and not before the scheduled arrival time). Example: for a reservation from May 5 to 8, it is possible to cancel until May 1 at 11:59 p.m. The paid cancellation will be effective from May 2, 00:00 (midnight).
After this deadline, the entire reservation will be billed via the bank card deposited as a guarantee when booking.
A shortened stay is equivalent to a cancellation and the cancelled night(s) will be charged accordingly. No refund will be made for a shortened stay.
In case of no-show on the scheduled arrival date, the entire reservation will be charged via the bank card deposited as a guarantee when booking.
Cancellations: group customers
Cancellation is subject to a fee according to the following scale:
> Cancellation more than 40 days before the arrival date: 10% of the total amount of the reservation is charged
> Cancellation between 40 and 20 days before the arrival date: 20% of the total amount of the reservation is charged
> Cancellation between 20 and 10 days before the arrival date: 70% of the total amount of the reservation is charged
> Cancellation less than 10 days before the arrival date: 100% of the total amount of the reservation is charged
> No-show on the scheduled arrival date: 100% of the total amount of the reservation is charged
Article 6: Excessive consumption, dangerous behaviors
The Auberge de la Fontasse is not a suitable place for partying. This also applies to the surroundings of the hostel, in the Calanques National Park, for which the hostel is responsible. Alcohol should be consumed in moderation. It is forbidden to bring your own alcohol with a strength exceeding 15% (category "Spirits" from 15 to 45%).
The hostel’s team reserves the right to stop the sale of alcohol to people who are in a state of inebriation.
The consumption of drugs or any other psychotropic substance is strictly prohibited.
A security protocol has been put in place with the National Park Police and the National Police in the event of excess or dangerous behavior for oneself, for others or for the surrounding nature. This will be applied as soon as necessary.
